Holy Cross Parish, Henderson
A Catholic community of the Diocese of Auckland, served by the Capuchin Friars.
The parish of the Holy Cross has stood on View Road, Henderson, overlooking the changing nature of the settlement, township, suburb and developing business centre of Henderson since 1911.
Our parish is a constituent parish of the Catholic Diocese of Auckland and is served by the Capuchin Friars, an autonomous branch of the Order of Friars Minor founded by St Francis of Assisi. The Capuchin community lives in the Friary next to Holy Cross School.
Our parish family is wonderfully diverse, with vibrant communities from the Pacific, Asia and beyond enriching our liturgical life and traditions.
